Overview and metadata sections
Elizabeth "Elsie" Yarnall Maguire was born in 1891, the only daughter of J. Abbott Maguire and Mary Yarnall Maguire. After graduating from the Agnes Irwin School, she attended Bryn Mawr College, where she graduated in 1913 with degrees in History, Economics, and Politics. Maguire travelled extensively and was an active volunteer. She worked for many years as a volunteer for the Alumnae Association, and she also served as Chairman for the Scholarships and Loan Fund Committee. In 1936, she returned to Bryn Mawr to audit Classical Archaeology (her notebook from this class has been removed from this collection). She passed away in 1980.
