- Abstract:
- The first scrapbook (1888-1900) is a collection of material from immediately after Scattergood graduated from Haverford College. This includes newspaper clippings, primarily regarding sports, invitations to athletic events, glee club performances, junior class exercises, and graduations. Additionally, there are materials from alumni association events, for both Haverford College and Forsythe School. There are also a number of small pictures from his time at Haverford. The second scrapbook also has numberous athletics clippings and invitations. Additionally, there are letters and pictures from numerous European destination (i.e. London, Amsterdam). Materials from Harvard Club and the Pennsylvania Forestry Association are also present.
