Abstract:

The Citizens' National Bank of Pottstown, Pennsylvania was organized in 1892. Later it became part of Philadelphia National Bank, which in turn became CoreStates Financial Corporation in 1983. The Philadelphia National Bank in Pottstown scrapbooks, 1892-1982, consists of 11 volumes. Most scrapbooks are comprised of clippings--published financial condition reports, advertisements, and a few news items--but one volume from the mid-20th century has photographs as well.
