- Abstract:
- The collection contains a series of architecutral plans and letters for Barclay Hall (completed 1877) including: a letter from the Haverford Executive Committee outlining proposed costs and donations, initial plans for the hall with first and second story floor plans drafted by Addison Hutton (Barclay's architect), a correspondence between W.S. Rhodes and the building's contractor (Yarnall and Cooper), proposals on ways to reduce building costs, and contracts for the construction of Barclay as well as the installation of its boiler.
