- During the Civil War, over 1,000 men from Bucks County, PA joined what would be known as the 104th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment. The soldiers received training at Camp Lacey in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and saw action along the East Coast, including the Battle of Fair Oaks, Virginia (1862). The Bucks County Civil War Round Table Library and Museum collection, 1861-2014 (bulk 1861-1900), consists of various documents relating to the Civil War, with items from soldiers, officers, and veterans. While the focus of the collection is Bucks County, it includes materials from across the nation.
