For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. Due to legacy practices regarding office of origin loans, some faculty may have multiple listings in the Faculty and Professional Staff Files finding aids. In some cases, only one file will be present in the collection though there are two listings. These files may have been combined but the finding aid has not been updated. When these issues are found the finding aid will be corrected. In 2023, box numbers were added for files in the "Primary Run" with the assistance of Nimrah Naseer'23, Samantha Carrizales '22, Phoebe Nobles and Regine Heberlein.
