S. Reid Warren, Jr. attended Moore School of Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania where he would receive a Sc.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1937. While attending Penn, Warren began his research and teaching career which would span almost forty years. The S. Reid Warren, Jr., Papers primarily document his professional career in the field of electrical engineering and radiologic physics, and in particular his role as an educator.
